The album explores the dilemma that a person faces while maturing and shaping their emotional world: Do we truly have the freedom to choose who we want to be, or are we bound by the experiences we go through and the emotions that arise from them as our personality takes form?
This is the question that has been brewing in the creator of this album’s mind over the past ten years. The twelve tracks represent twelve milestones in shaping the artist’s emotional landscape — moments that led him confronted with this very dilemma.
However, the purpose of this project is not to provide a definite answer, but rather, to spark in the listener the same reflection that the artist has faced himself. The answer to this question is something that each person will be called to answer to themselves in due time.
At the same time, the album serves as a reminder of the importance of personal inquiry — of understanding the distinction between one’s lived experiences and the stance one ultimately chooses to take toward life.
